Our Community Involvement
Edenwood Autos has been servicing the Blackwood community since it’s early establishment as a small hills village, over 50 years ago. The current owners, Barry and Maria Caddle, bought the business in 1986. Having been Blackwood residents for over 40 years, they’ve developed a strong connection to their community. The Manager, Geoff Caddle, is also a long time local, and is always keen to look after his customers by passing on good value through using the best quality products. Our qualified mechanics are constantly adapting to new trends and developments to make sure customers receive the most efficient, high-quality service. As a community-oriented business, we strive to give back to the people within our supportive network. We’ve been major sponsors of the Blackwood Football Club since 1986 and continue to extend our funding. Edenwood Autos has been quality assured since 1998, and the team undergo annual audits to maintain these standards. We’re proud associates of the Motor Trade Association (MTA) and have received RAA Mechanical Repairer certification, which supports our high-quality claims.
Who We Are
Through the MTA we have attained Green Stamp accreditation, because environmental sustainability is at the core of our operations. We’ve also been granted the tick of approval through our strict compliance with regulations set by the Mitcham Council. We recycle in a safe and responsible manner—all parts, paper, oil, oil filters and waste liquids are properly disposed of. We carry-out services for all makes and models of vehicles, with a specialty focus on 4WDs. We also include new car servicing as per manufacturer’s requirements while maintaining the new car warranty. As part of the Caddle Investments Group, we are a depot for Caddle Crash Repairs and South Road Crash Repairs for both insurance and non-insurance jobs. Both divisions are recommended by most insurance companies and are familiar with the specific quoting requirements of individual insurance companies. Free loan cars are offered by arrangement, but a small one-off fee for full comprehensive insurance cover does apply for the duration of the repair. We have both automatic and manual options available.
